From Bangkok and Baht to Pommies and Pounds

Well here i am in Old London town. My last day in Bangkok was fantastic. I've posted up HEAPS of new photos so you all have to check them out here. I finally caught up with the chick from Couchsurfers and she spent the whole day with me, taking me to temples, shopping and out to eat REAL Thai food, which was very interesting to say the least.
The flight was about 12 hours and unbelievably boring and tiresome, so much so i think i'll stay here forever not to have to do it again! LOL But otherwise it was successful as i arrived safe and sound.
After Ty and me missed each other at the gate and we were both standing 20 metres apart for 10 minutes and not realising, it was sooooo good to see him, even though i was delerious and couldn't comprehend what was going on. So anyway, we spent all over yesturday wondering around London, visiting Hyde Park, the Eye, Leister Square, Princess Diana Mamorial, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the House of Parliament and other cool places. Being extremely jetlagged, i often felt as though i was going to pass out half the day, but apart from this it was really awesome seeing all that and hangin out with my big bro again.
So we're just looking around more today, going to do a Big Bus Company Tour thingy, then head to Brighton tonight. Hope all is good back home and everyone's safe and well!
OXOXOX

Talk about a culture shock!

Well, i arrived safe and sound in Thailand's capital, Bangkok! I haven't even been here one day and it feels like ive done so much already, and i guess i have. It's 4 hours behind Australia, so i woke very early, had brekkie, then stepped out with my map into the hustle and bustle. I quickly figured that a popular way to get around is by these boats on the main river, which took me to the Grand Palace. Have a look at my photos, they are pretty cool and explain things a bit more as well. After the Grand Palace, i ran into a series of people, including being whisked away in a 'tuk tuk' around the city to various locations and there are stories to go along with every part of this!
It all happened in a flurry and i got myself back to the Hotel (Manohra Hotel) to meet a lady from couch surfers, but she didn't turn up and ill meet her tomorrow and she'll show me more of the city. She's a Thai lady who is an event organiser here in Bangkok.
Anyway, i look forward to the rest of my time here. There's so much to see and do and i guess im going to see alot more tomorrow! For now i'm starving because i haven't even stopped to eat since 7am and its now 4pm! lol
I doubt i'll make another post here in Bangkok, but probably with from London when i arrive! Yey! Can't wait to get there and see my brother Ty who will be waiting for me.
Hugs and kisses to you all.
